My Mother is back in SoCal. I found out last Sunday night with a phone call from her. She wanted to surprise me. Uh, yeah accomplished that, Mom. She is living at my FIL’s house. He is convinced she has stopped drinking because he heard it on good authority from her sister. The same woman who lied through her ever loving teeth last year at this time and told him my Mom had no real problems…medical or otherwise.
Yeah, THAT’S the person you want to believe. Uh, huh. Now my Mother keeps calling and asking when she is going to see us and can I take her Christmas shopping and can I do….YEP. It’s started already.
I. Am. In. Hell.Christmas is screwed.
