No way do rednecks only live in the south. Im from a tiny town in Upstate NY. Lets see half of our town lives in trailer parks. We have friends that would go to a bar fresh out of the barn still clothed in barn boots and all but he would manage to throw a Carhart jacket on to spruce up. A few in my husbands family are missing a lot of teeth and have no problem because many in our town are this way. The N word still flies around freely. Im a golden tan color and am considered dark and it gets quite scary to be outside during hunting season since there are so many hunters. The list could go on.

LOL! They sound like they’re talking about upper NW PA too! There are some crazy hillbilly rednecks around here for sure….I may or may not be related to some, just sayin’

Oh dear. I thought I’d eliminated some of those images from my mind. Now I’m going to have nightmares for weeks again. Used to live in Pottstown…. worked in King of Prussia… had a friend in Allentown. Never seemed to see the rednecks in the KoP Toys R Us, we always got the snooty drs, lawyers, athletes, etc. Surprised they didn’t throw a remark in regarding the nuclear plant in Limerick. Had to go by that bugger every day going to and from work.

OK, for the places they posted about the most, those guys are from central PA, right where I’m at, or where we used to live. They barely hit the ends of the state at all, and they hit some obscure places in the central part most people don’t know about unless you live there. But yeah, we’re redneck fabulous here in PA.
