I hope that you and yours have a wonderful, joyous Thanksgiving. Spend time with your loved ones. Eat until you are stuffed, then go back for seconds. Have pie and cocoa and maybe some wine. Be grateful for what you have right now, this very second and not what you think you MUST have to be content. When you are happy with the present, the blessings start rolling in. The little things mean the most, not the latest gadget, car, designer clothing or whatnot. As long as you have a roof over your head, food in your belly, your family and relative health, it’s all good.
We’re poor, live paycheck to paycheck and oftentimes don’t make ends meet, but God has our backs and we are loved. In the end, that’s what matters, right? You can’t take it with you, so enjoy what you have and where you are right this minute!
Give this Day of Thanks the respect it deserves and savor it. Honor the turkey. And the stuffing. And the cranberry sauce in the shape of a can because that’s the way it should be! Don’t go going all Christmas-gaga before this awesome day is over and you’ve at least had seconds or thirds.
SAVE THE BABY REINDEER! DON’T DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS BEFORE THANKSGIVING!!!
