I think that plan would prohibit coverage of abortion by any insurance plan that receives federal government subsidies.

I agree, we all need to have health care. I also agree, this IS NOT the way to do it. It has been proven that more than 50% of American’s do not want this plan, whether it be all for the same reason or for different reasons. These politicians are only doing what the insurance companies have paid them to do, pass a health care plan that forces you to get the insurance THEY want.

We need to vote everyone of them out this November and in 2012!

I agree with you! I live 15 minutes from a military base and have a lot of very close friends that are military wives. I always feel bad when one of them or their kids get sick because they go to the military hospital and get painkillers. That is it! If they want a proper diagnosis they have to go to the hospital? WHAT?

Thankfully this was not the total govt run health care I was afraid of. But There are lots of problems with it – why else would NOT A SINGLE republican and even some democrats not vote yay? hmmmmmm……

Okay – I agree with a lot but you are wrong here:

No – they mostly DIDN’T want to do it. They were forced to by the govt for “equality” that “everyone deserves to own a home”. Now people who maybe could have afforded houses at one time, for real, are going through foreclosures and short sales and banks are failing everywhere because of stupid loans. Why? Goverment interference. Yah. I dont feel secure at all with the passing of this reform. Hello USSA.

That has been us, and we ARE on a gov’t plan. We have the military’s lovely Tricare. WTF makes people think the gov’t can run a plan for them right when they screw up Medicare, the VA, and Tricare so badly NOW? So many people are in for a rude awakening. Oh, and the doctors that will be approved providers? Gov’t contracts ALWAYS go to the lowest bidder. I’ve seen it first hand I can’t tell you how many times as my 10 years as a military spouse. People need to take off those rose colored glasses and take a shot of reality.
