I do need to confess how COMPLETELY clueless
I truly am …When Jeannie first posted this giveaway back in December {I think…} I entered to win these amazing earrings. Obviously I didn’t win then. So when she announced that the original winner had given her a bad address, the package came back to her and she was re~doing the giveaway, I of course entered again. Wouldn’t you? These earrings are gorgeous! When I saw the announcement of the winner this morning and it said Shannon, I really was not at all sure that she meant MOI.
First, I have entered nearly every contest in the blogosphere in the last couple of months {I even stayed hooked to my PC nearly ALL day and half the night for Merry SITSmas} and I have not won anything. Second, I go by Shan or babyrocasmama on the webby {Shannon is my given name, but only people who personally know me actually know that AND most of my friends call me Shan}. Third there is another blogger named Shannon floating around the bloggy world and she frequents a lot of the same sites that I do.
So imagine my surprise 
when Jeannie wrote me back saying that yes, it was indeed MOI that had won her contest. I never win anything. I was so elated, I did the happy dance in my chair and giggled like a little girl!
When my husband got home from work, I showed him the post and a picture of what I had won. I wanted to show him my first spoils from blogging…His reaction was “So, in a way you got sloppy seconds {said totally deadpan}.” Want to know my response to him?
