Just Another Wordless Wednesday… {LadyBugs}

We found these in our backyard on Mother’s Day. They are supposed to be good luck. I just love them regardless.

The first two looked like they were babies. One was just all red. No spots yet. We kept finding them for days afterwards. But the weather has changed and most of the “grass” in the backyard resembles shafts of wheat now, so I am guessing they have moved on to greener pastures. Hopefully the luck they bring has not. 😀

Don’t forget about the Brandy’s Battle auction fundraiser happening this Friday, June 4, 2010 starting at 9am PST and going all weekend or until we run out of items. The auction will take place at our new site dedicated to Brandy and her struggles to get good medical treatment without any health insurance. Please go visit, but remember, I will be posting everything on my site and Brandy’s Battle, as well as the Brandy’s Battle FaceBook page.

We also have this really cool widget provided to us by Eric of Ukumi. Check it out.

  1. We love ladybugs! We usually get a good house infestation of them once a year. So far nothing. I hope they brought you a lot of good luck! You deserve it!

  3. We get the nasty asian lady beetles… they drop in fall out of the trees and want to come indoors… then they dive bomb us all winter! And they love to bite! esp me ( I am just to tasty for my own good!) and if you happen to squish one they smell horrible! they are not the native ones to north America, but the ones imported for so called natural garden pest control, but they didn’t work the way it was planned.. they never learn to not bring in strange plants or animals until there are tests…
    Pretty shots! I hope they bless the house with luck!

    So pretty, all we ever get are the ugly orange asian ones. I haven’t seen a real ladybug in ages, I miss that bright red color!

    I ♥ ladybugs!!! My kids are AFRAID of them! My kids are almost 11 and 13 and they are AFRAID of ladybugs. How embarrassing!!!

    You know, millions of people each year are eaten alive by Ladybugs. Ha Ha. Just kidding. But my kids really believe that.
