It’s time, once again, for Small talk Six! On Saturdays presented by MomDot.com. Today’s topic is “6 reasons why you would be doomed if you were stranded on a deserted island all by yourself“. You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences. 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc…

Here goes nuthin’…

1) I could not build a shelter that would stand upright for very long.

2) I’m dyslexic and directionally challenged, so even though I am a strong swimmer, I would likely end up right back on the same island.

3) Much like Tom Hanks in Castaway, I would end up talking to a damn ball or coconut just to try to get away from the voices in my head. Then if I ever did get rescued, I would be even crazier than I am now. Entertaining as hell for you all, not a good thing for moi.

4) I am a meat and potatoes kind of girl. I like a nice medium rare steak, a baked potato and lots of butter. These are not things you find readily available on a deserted island. I would shrivel up and die. It would be horrible.

5) I am a white girl. I do not tan, unless it was sprayed on me. I would turn into a well done Irish girl and it would not be a pretty sight.

6) Unless Sawyer {From Lost} was on said island, I would be freaking out about not being able to make a fire, catch a fish {I hate fish, but I love lobster}, find a cow, get some chocolate…you get the picture. And I would be missing my family terribly.
