The MomDot Dottie Awards: I’m Nominated!!

Oh, yeah! I am nominated for THREE Dottie Awards. Yes, this is incontrovertible proof that I rock, damn it!!

I am up for a Naughtiest Intern Award, Most Likely To Demand A Recount and The Michael Moore Award for Mouthiest Blogger.

Uh, huh….

You all know that my Republican/Libertarian sensibilities are at war with being nominated for an award named after so~far~left~he’s~in~ China~Michael Moore, but it really is an honor to have been nominated by my peers, people I respect and love dearly. I just wish it had a different name. Well I am in the lead for that little gem. And I would like to keep it that way, thank you very much. {Yes, I made this button, thank you. I think it turned out pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. And I do say so, damn it. LOL}}

Why? I’m pretty mouthy. I am not afraid to state my opinion. Ever. But most of you knew that already, I’m sure!

The other two awards that I am nominated for crack me up. Naughtiest Intern? Moi??

BWAHAHAAHAHA

And finally, Most Likely To Demand A Recount…well those hanging chads in Florida back in 2000 really chapped my ass, so I would say I somewhat qualify for this. However, I don’t think that cheaters should be rewarded and when it greatly affects one of my friends or myself, I get pretty pissed off. And I demand a recount! {Yeah, like you didn’t see that one coming!}

So would y’all pretty please go and vote for me? I would be ever so grateful. Truly. You don’t even need to register for anything. Welcome to Last Shreds Of Sanity aka The Asylum and our entry into the MckLinky BlogHop Event.Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I go by Baby Roca’s Mama on the World Wide Webby, but you can also call me Shan. Please sit, get comfy and read a while. This place of mine is pretty random. I write about anything from my daughter to my husband to politics, to twisted, funny pictures and videos to current events. I am kind of a one stop shop!

I would love it if any of you decided to join in the fun tomorrow!I have met some pretty awesome friends in my short time in the blogosphere and I hope to meet more soon. It is such a wonderful feeling to find out that the World Wide Webby isn’t such a vast place after all. Although my mind is a vast, sometimes dark place filled with bizarre bits of information that I feel I must impart to someone. That’s how my random drivel ends up on the “Net. LOL You will find that I am way left of center most days, but I always try to be honest with what is written here.

Well, alrighty, then! I am not sure if this guy thinks I am a man~hater or what {I most certainly am not, I hate stupidity, which is usually coming from a man.}, but I did get a 5 star rating from him {her?}. I guess that means I’m not all that bad, huh? Isn’t funny what others will say about your blog in a “review”?

If my blog is making people think I’m a man~hater {which is absolutely hilarious, by the way}, I guess I should start making stuff up writing less about my Husband’s genetic male stupidity leave my Husband out of my blog completely, right? Not a snowball’s chance in hell on that one! My Husband, daughter, Mom, Brother, Out~Laws In~Laws, etc. are free fodder for my bloggy grist mill. If you are related to me by blood or marriage, I will talk about you on my blog. I am, however, kind enough not to actually mention you by name. I just give you catchy aliases like, SIL~From~Hell, etc.
