It’s time, once again, for Small talk Six! On Saturdays presented by MomDot.com. Today’s topic is “6 keepsakes you have kept and have cherished“. You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences. 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc…
Hmmm, well I collect things. Always have. As for keepsakes, I’m not sure if everything will fall precisely into that category, but they have meaning to me and that’s what matters, right?
1) The last gift my Dad ever bought me. A unicorn t-shirt from New Orleans. It was too small when he bought it for me, but I still have it. Unworn and unwashed.
2) The Diva’s hospital bracelet, blood pressure cuff, t-shirt/hat and all of her first outfits {Coming home outfit, first Halloween costume, first bathing suit, first Christmas, etc.}
3) My Dad’s watch. Still set to PST. He died in November, 1992. I keep it set to that time. I have no real idea why. But really, it’s all I have left since my Mom either lost, let get stolen or gave away all of the things he left my Big Bro and I in the will. Thanks, Mom.
4) My wedding bouquet
5) My porcelain unicorn collection
6) High school dance keepsake books for dances that My Husband and I attended together.
