Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum Giveaway

[ 1 ] November 10, 2008 |

My new favorite people over at SITS are giving away this awesome prize, which I so want! We have a long-haired Demon Possessed cat, a preschooler & a practically neolithic vacuum cleaner that my Mom had for her cleaning business, oh so many moons ago. You know the kind, the red one with “commercial” written down the bag that you see used at businesses? Yes, THAT one! And that ancient thing sucks at getting up cat hair. I really need this vacuum. I would like all my cleaning tools to have been made in THIS century. Please!??!

Check it out:

Healthy Home Vacuum.

I know. We are freaking out. So totally excited. Let us tell you about this baby.

  • Non-Stop Suction: for superior cleaning
  • Airtight HEPA Filtration System: collects 99% of the particles as small as .3 microns and 100% of slightly larger particles like pollen, ragweed, dust mites and mold spores.
  • Purifies the air while you are vacuuming!
  • Microban Antimicrobial Protection: fights the growth of odor causing bacteria.

For 5 additional entries, post about it on your blog and link back to us.

As always, every comment you leave roll calling (1 per day) on SITS is yet another entry!

Contest winner to be announced Dec. 1.

You must have a SITS button in your sidebar to win.

How cool is this??!! Oh man, do I wish I could win this one! But I promise to be happy for whoever does. Really…

Dang, that’s a nice vacuum! Not counting a couple of small uprights (good for quick, if inefficient cleaning and acquired deafness) and one or two handhelds, I actually have three vacuums — one for each floor. Of course, any normal person adding a second floor to their house and reconfiguring the main floor (and having to tear open basement walls and ceiling for pipe installation and additional support) would just put in a central vacuum system. But I had heard some mixed reviews about such a system, so decided to go with three vacuums. They’re all Sears Kenmore canister vacuums — I have mostly wood and tile, with a few of area rug — and I love them. But I know my husband would REALLY love that sexy vac you’ve shown there! Too bad he won’t be getting it!
