Blog Author Down For Scheduled Maintenance

I will be offline for a couple of days for scheduled maintenance. I am doing a clean install of Windows 7 PRO, which means I will have to back up all my important files, wipe my hard drive clean and reload all of my programs and files. I am backing up my files to a program called Drop Box which is one of those online storage places. You can get 2GB of storage for free or pay for more. I’m paying the $9.99/month fee to get 50GB. I am also going to copy everything to disks just for that extra assurance. And if my freaking LightScribe disk program would work, this would all go much faster.

I know this would be much easier if I had an external hard drive, but I don’t. And I need one that is at least one terabyte. Unfortunately, the external hard drive I want is more than I can afford right now. I hope I copy everything I am supposed to copy. Otherwise I’m kind of screwed.

If you hear of some red headed woman in SoCal going crazy at a Microsoft store, you’ll know that this ended badly and I am taking out my vengeance on those who created the beast that caused me such pain and frustration.

Again, pray for me.

If I lose any of my clients’ files or my baby girls’ pictures, I will lose it.

If it all goes well, I will do a tutorial on how to wipe your hard drive clean, back up your files and reinstall everything, including Windows 7 PRO. If it all goes to hell in a hand basket…see statement about 6 sentences above.
