Longing for Autumn…
My favorite seasons are Fall and Winter. This is the time of year that I start dreaming about crisp, cool days, chilly nights and wishing we lived somewhere that actually had four seasons. In SoCal we have three seasons, hot as hell, windy as hell combined with fire season and freeze your nipples off cold {also combined with windy as hell}
The leaves don’t change here, they just get blown off in mid-January by the Santa Ana winds. A week later there are new green buds on the tree. Oh, how I long for a real Autumn and a snowy Winter.

Me too me too! Yah! I finally found someone else like me. Everyone is always talking about how much they love the summer. I long for Fall and Winter. I wish I lived somewhere where they only ever had fall and winter. They are my favorite seasons too. Not just because of the holidays, but because of the weather and colors. You can come visit me anytime to see the colors change. We get beautiful fall colors and snow in the winter, but nothing as beautiful as they do up North.
I can't imagine not having fall. It is my favorite season.
I love fall, it's my favorite time of the year. You can visit me. The colors here (WV) are beautiful. I take a day and just ride around so I can take pictures. It's beautiful.

I LOVE Fall. We don't get much of one in Virginia. Winter here is more like the Falls I was used to in Michigan. Lovely shots of the colorful leaves…makes me a little homesick:)

I love Autumn, when it starts to get dark and there are leaves to jump on… I htink I'll go dig out my scarves now!
Fall is the only thing I love about living where I live. That second picture is stunning!
Texas was the same. Buds to green leaves to brown to the ground. No real change at all. Here, we have a bit of a change, bit nothing I'm used to.
I love the feel of autumn and the clothing…layering is so fun.
I beg to differ with you. SoCal has NO weather that is “freeze your nipples off” cold. NONE. Come to Chicago when it's 0F with a wind chill of -30F, THEN tell me what will freeze your nipples off.
I'm still waiting for summer to arrive, so Autumn is NOT welcome at my house, lol.
