Spending Time With The In~Laws. Love It Or Hate It?: Small Talk Six
It’s time, once again, for Small talk Six! On Saturdays presented by MomDot.com. Today’s topic is “6 things you love or hate about spending time with your or your significant others relatives”. You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences. 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc…Well if that isn’t a loaded question!! Okie Dokie. I just plain hate spending too much time with my In~Laws. Not all of them, mind you, but a few.
Here goes nothin’…
1) My SIL is an evil shrew who never fails to find something to use to piss me off or against me, either from a previous event or whatever bee got into her bonnet that day {Remember how she was so offended that she had to wash her hands before handling The Diva as a baby?}.
2) My BIL is an idiot. And the SIL’s little errand boy. And he’s evil. He refused to even acknowledge my daughter’s existence until she was almost four years old because he was offended that he had to wash his hands before holding her when she was a baby. Never mind that The Diva nearly died at birth and had a depressed immune system for a very long time. Nope. He was offended. Along with the SIL and the MIL. And he is always at the family gatherings. Ugh!
3) Well, my Mother is back and living at my FIL’s house. I found out this past Sunday. Christmas is ruined now. And we won’t be spending much time at all at the FIL’s because of my crazy assed, control freak, alcoholic Mother.
4) I do love spending time with my Husband’s nieces. I love those girls!
5) I love seeing and talking with my Husband’s Uncles and Aunts. They really are a nice group of people and have accepted me for who I am, even when my MIL, SIL and BIL refuse to do so.
6) Sometimes I say that I just go for the food. Some people in that family can cook, man. Nothing like tamales on Christmas Eve.

Whoa, that is a lot of drama. I have one SIL that I had not spoken to in about 3 years because she pissed me off. Then last week dear ole Hubbys says M is coming over to drop off some money for me to go pick up their lawn mower from getting repaired. She should be here soon……then he goes and gets in the shower. Men:( I definitely have to watch my mouth at the in-laws, it keeps me out of trouble. lol
Your mom being at your FIL's totally threw me. I had to read that twice, and I am still wondering if I read it correct. lol
