I Think I Want To Create An Actual Website…
So lately, I have been thinking about creating a website, not another blog, but to actually create a website to store all my photos a bit more securely than Face Book {Or my blog , for that matter} and to have a place where I can post things only my family and friends who refuse to go to my blog would care to read. I could also use a website to make and store an online photo album, so that all the pictures of The Diva and us are in one, convenient place, instead of in individual posts. Can you believe I have family and friends out there who won’t go to my blog but will talk to me on Face Book all day long? I don’t get it either.
I think it might also be a good place for the online services I want to start offering. I’m not sure if all of you know this, but I make blog/event buttons {I will branching out into blog headers/blog design soon, hopefully}, do virtual assisting {Or I’m trying to} and I write awesome resumes.
Really, I do.
I have been writing my friends’, family and their friends’ resumes for years. Do you know how much a resume service charges for that? A minimum of $200! Lordy be! I am not charging anywhere near that amount.
But I digress…
I have been searching for a economical and easy way to accomplish this goal and I think I have found one. I will have to explore it further to be sure, but it looks good so far. I will have links here at The Asylum to that site when I do finally get it up and running, of course. But I just wanted to let you all know what I was up to personally, besides all the normal Christmas stuff we are all doing right now.

I think I would love to make a site for pictures only, like an online photobook. But I am really afraid of someone stealing the pictures.

I am not a good person to ask for photo advice! But I wish I could help!
The photo stealing problem…if you have your blog on wordpress (installed) then you can download the grand flash gallery for displaying whole galleries on seperate pages/posts and then ppl can’t steal them from a flash gallery…wp also has photo protect plugins.
And for facebook friends, I make a habit of shaing blog posts to my news feed so they have no excuse, as the URL is just a handy click awat.
Anyways, good luck, oh and there’s this company called artisteer(dot)com that has a program for simple web design which includes blog theme templates.
